WHAT IS M.A.P.?
M.A.P. is a structured support curriculum developed for the music and creative arts ministries of The Salvation Army USA Central Territory. Its primary goal is to elevate the weekly worship-music offerings by nurturing “competent” players and singers.
WHAT IS M.A.P. FOR?
Designed for use in corps and music programmes, M.A.P. provides instructors with downloadable forms, certificates, scale-sheets and evaluations for a variety of instruments (brass, guitar, piano, percussion, ukulele, voice) and theory.
It functions as a flexible curriculum-tool: instructors guide students through assessment, goals, and progress in musicianship, aligned with worship ministry standards.
By engaging with the material, participants develop improved technical skills, ensemble awareness, and a higher standard of musicianship — all aimed at enhancing the worship experience and glorifying God through music.
M.A.P. is used across the USA Central Territory and beyond, supporting both individual and ensemble development in a worship-arts context.
